About this forum

Class B Owners Forum opened in June 2025 for people who own, or are about to own, a motorhome built inside a van. The bigger RV boards treat class B owners as an afterthought, and the van life sites are mostly people building their own out of cargo vans. This is for the factory vans: Travato, Revel, Solis, Airstream Interstate, Thor Sequence and Tellaro, Coachmen Beyond, Storyteller, Pleasure-Way, Roadtrek. ProMaster, Sprinter and Transit, all welcome.

It is member-run by Greg N., mod_greg_n on the boards. Greg spent 27 years as a wildland fire engine captain for the Forest Service out of Bozeman, Montana, and has owned a class B since 2011. The current one is a 2018 Pleasure-Way Plateau that his wife calls the shoebox. He reads the contact mailbox himself, slower in August when the fish are up.

House rules

• Give the year, the model and the chassis in the first post of a question. A 2019 Travato on the old ProMaster and a 2023 one are different vans to work on.
• Say what you paid. Buying reports without a number get a friendly note from a mod asking for one.
• No selling vans inside threads. Linking a public listing to make a point is fine.
• If you work for a dealer, an RV maker, a broker, an auction or a transport company, say so when you post. People posting as customers on behalf of a business get removed.
• Be decent. The Sprinter owners and the ProMaster owners share this place.
• Mods move posts to the right board and leave a note. Locks are rare and come with a reason.

What this is not

Not a dealer, not a parts counter, and not a substitute for the owner's manual. When somebody here gives you a tire pressure or a torque spec, check it against the chart for your own van before you trust it.
